Be Prepared

Intention is a good idea; however, intention alone does not make the process easier. Jumping in without preperation, is a quick way to mess up and give up. Attempting to take action without know what you will do makes it difficult. Preparing for a healthy week sets you up for success.

Prepare by having a workout plan. Having a workout plan is actually your weapon to make your workouts more effective and efficient. Armed with a workout plan, you can finally avoid wandering aimlessly around the gym or the park to decide what exercises you should be doing.

If you’re planning to go to the gym, pack your gym bag ahead of time. This will save you time and ensure that you’re prepared to do your planned workout.

Meal prep is just as important. While setting goals to eat healthy may be easy, following through with those goals and staying consistent can be tricky.

Having a plan makes it easy to follow through with your commitment to healthy eating, because it removes the need to make a decision. Having your healthy meals and snacks prepared will prevent you from impulsively eating unhealthy foods. Also, meal preparation allows you plan variety to your meals, preventing you from abandoning your healthy choices for exciting unhealthy foods.
