Don’t just count the days of your life. Make the days of your life to count. Give the days of your life have meaning.
You have control and can determine the meaning. Television commercials and magazine advertisements do not determine the meaning of the days of your life. You determine the quality of your days by creating real moments in them.
First, take time to appreciate who you are today. Spend time alone, doing nothing but simply thinking. This is a real moment to meditate, evaluate, and appreciate. Take this real moment to understand you. Such a meaningful moment will help you to create further meaning to the days when you’re interacting with others.
Second, take time to appreciate the things around you. This may include nature, the people around you, and even the work of others. Take this real moment to do nothing but find value in these things. Once you emphasize the value in the things around you, it will help you to create further meaning to your days.
Creating real moments simply means stopping to enjoy life today versus reserving your joy for a better life tomorrow. Stop and create a real moment today and feel the life you’re living.
